Regardless of whether you are synced with CampusDirector or using another campus recruitment software, you will need to set up your recruitment rounds to use MyVote.
To set up Rounds, click on the Settings tab in the top navigation, then click on Rounds. You will want to add the appropriate amount of voting rounds for your chapter’s recruitment, including pre-score rounds, recruiting rounds and any additional voting rounds.
To create a new round, click on the blue Add Round button. A new blank round will appear. You will need to drop down the Round Type.
The Round type is tied to your National organization’s voting criteria. Selecting a pre-score round, will put a STAR where the Round number will be so as not to be confused with the actual Round 1 of recruitment.
Round 1 should align with your campus’ Round 1, usually the Open House round.
Next, name the round. The round name can match the council’s names (Philanthropy, Sisterhood, Etc.) or can be anything else you want the name to be. Choose what is familiar to your chapter.
Then choose the number of events the round should have, this should match the total number of events your council has assigned for that round. If a just-in-case round is included in your schedule, include that number. It is better to overestimate the number of events than underestimating.
Refer to your organization’s specific MyVote voting criteria needs for the round types your chapter uses in the Rounds section of MyVote. Contact your national representative if you need support with your membership selection criteria.
WARNING: Once votes have been submitted, DO NOT change the round type or order of the rounds. This could result in the loss of votes already cast. If you do need to edit your rounds after voting has started, contact support before making changes. They will ensure your data is backed up and help address your needs.
