MyVote - How to Add Users to Your MyVote Account

To add users to MyVote, click on the Settings tab in the top navigation bar, then click the Users.  


There are three user types in MyVote:

Technology Team - This user has full admin access to the chapter accounts. When the term Admin is used, it refers to Technology team users.

Recruitment Team - this user has modified admin access, this user cannot see PNM scores, comments, notes or results and cannot export comments or scores.

Voting Member - this user can only view and vote on PNMs and see their own scores/comments on PNMs. You can add new users individually or via an import. 


Add Individual User

Under Invite Users, enter one email address of a user you wish to invite, next select the user level (Voting Members, Recruitment Team, Technology Team), then click Invite User. This user will then receive an email to set up their account similar to the screenshot above.


Import Users

To upload voting members all at once, click on the blue plus sign button in the bottom right-hand corner of your MyVote screen.  Click on Import Users.  You will then see a screen to upload your Excel spreadsheet of Voting Members.  Your Excel sheet should match the columns on the screen with the First Name in the first column, followed by the Last Name, and then the user’s email address.  The first row in the spreadsheet will be omitted, so you will want to have a header row or start your data on Row 2. Once you click upload, the users you imported will be invited via email and will enter the platform as a Voting Member. Under the Users tab in Settings, you will see the list of users you imported.


WARNING: The Import Users feature will add users as Voting Members ONLY. Do not include chapter admins in this upload or their existing access will be downgraded. 


Troubleshooting:

  • If you receive an error message when uploading, check the spreadsheet for any special characters or blank cells. 

  • Ensure you are uploading an .xlsx or .csv file. 

  • If the error still occurs, contact support@phiredup.com and include the spreadsheet you are using to upload.


Note: You must be a technology or recruitment team member to edit and add users.
